Meet Dr. Luke Sharron

At the age of 13, I decided to pursue a career in dentistry after being inspired by my orthodontist. Today, my passion for dentistry continues as I have the privilege to care for my family, friends, and neighbors. Dentistry is a beautiful blend of science and art; crafting smiles and restoring an individual’s oral health leaves an impact that transcends simple physical health and is rewarding beyond measure.

Before achieving my doctorate degree in dentistry at UCLA, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology at UC Davis.

Maintaining a commitment to life-long learning is important to me so that I can care for my patients at the highest level. I am an active member of the American Dental Association and its state and regional chapters (CDA, SBVCDS). Additionally, I participate in local study groups and educational opportunities, including the Santa Barbara Esthetic Interdisciplinary Dental Network (SBEIDN) with several of the area’s dental specialists and other general dentist colleagues.

While I have been treating the community in Santa Barbara since 2013, I was born and raised in Agoura Hills, CA along with my two older sisters and my younger brother. My wife Gigliola is a native of Santa Barbara and practices medicine as a nurse practitioner here in town.

When away from the office, I cherish my time with my family. Traveling, performance arts, and live music are just a few of my interests outside of dentistry and I am an avid supporter of efforts to conserve our environment. I feel blessed to be able to practice dentistry and raise my family in a community like Santa Barbara and cannot wait to meet you in the dental office or see you around town.
