I have a deep and genuine interest in providing quality dental care to each and every one of my patients and I truly enjoy interacting with them. I have been practicing for over 30 years and I have had the opportunity to get to know many generations of families. Not a day goes by that I don't feel lucky to be practicing in a field I love.

I attended the University of California Santa Barbara for my Bachelor of Arts degree in Cell Biology as well as for my Master of Science degree in Biochemistry. My Doctor of Dental Surgery degree was received at the University of California San Francisco in 1976. In 2000, I attended Santa Barbara College of Law, earning my Juris Doctor degree.

I am a native of San Diego and have lived in Santa Barbara for 34 years. I love to spend time with my wife, Erika, our six children, and six grandchildren. When I have free time I enjoy wine making, listening to music, being outdoors, and traveling.
